A Healthy Step

When beginning your journey of a healthy lifestyle it is best to set a desired goal for yourself, whether it’s losing 200 pounds, eating healthier, hitting the gym, gaining muscle, or cutting fatty foods. It is always the best to set goals because it allows you to take control of your life, break habits, motivates you, and determine if you’re closer to succeeding. Goals are sort of like eating a jar of almonds they are dull, hard on the outside and has its way of getting stuck in between a few teeth before reaching its destination. In order to accomplish the desired goal one must follow this acronym   S.M.A.R.T to set powerful and accomplishing goals.

Specific

Setting a goal with great detail.

Measurable

The progress of reaching your goal.

Attainable

Having a goal that is realistic and is able for one to reach.

Relevant

A goal that is relevant to what you want to succeed.
Timely

A time frame of the goal

Writing out an action plan will provide you with a visual path in which you can accomplish. If you are one who is lost on where to begin, below are some tips, which you should consider:

Clearing your mind

Clearing your mind is the first step to becoming a new you. This step will allow you to have a clear vision of your ultimate goal. Release negative thoughts you may have prior to this journey and replace them with positive ones.

Confidence

Whether your goal is a healthy diet or losing weight you will face times of hardship. You may “over think” things. However, this is the time to return to the first step of clearing your mind. Find solitude weekly or when you feel doubtful and remind yourself why you are on this journey. Rebuild your confidence and continue the journey of having a healthier life. Most importantly, believe in yourself.

The common issue is over thinking things by doing so it will just clutter your mind with “I cant” and will give you a reason to stop proceeding with your goal to a more healthy life. When setting goals one should be passionate about achieving the particular goal, surround yourselves with positive people, and take some time for yourself you deserve it.

Are you ready? Go!

You should be!
This is the first step.
